September 8th - Compassionate Leadership Award

Today I was formally presented with the “Compassionate Leadership Award”. It felt great to be recognized for my honors, efforts, and commitment to serving the community. But to be honest, it felt like I was simply making friends and hanging out with my buddies, which feels really great to say. It doesn’t feel like a job or like a chore; each time the kids interact with me in unique ways that brings a sense of fresh air.

I hope to invest more into Change Sports; this community has given me so much and I want to give back.
